Lowell Lotulelei. 31. player. 54. The Philadelpia Eagles got over on the NFL with all of the moves they made in 2016. Bringing Pederson on as the head coach was the best thing the Eagles could have possibly done. He was an assistant coach with the Eagles from 2009-2012 and went to the Chiefs with Reid to be the offensive coordinator. <p>So he remembered the talent he left behind and knew how badly it was misused with Kelly. He knew guys like Brandon Graham and Vinny Curry didn’t fit Kelly’s 3-4 defensive scheme as outside linebackers. And he made sure the Eagles kept Fletcher Cox, who’s a great defensive lineman in any scheme.</p> <p>Now, the Eagles put mad heat on the quarterback and are one of the best defenses in the NFL. And being a quarterback whisperer, he knew what he could do with Wentz the day he walked into the building. He also knew he had a good offensvie line to protect him, good running backs and good receivers.</p> <p>And he held onto Sam Bradford, knowing a team would eventually get desperate for a quarterback.</p>.
