9. Detroit Lions -5-4

During their bye week, the Lions took over first place in the NFC North. While getting extra rest, they saw the Packers, Vikings and Bears all lose on Sunday. They are tied with the Vikings, but hold the tie-breaker, putting them in first place.

This week, they hope to expand their lead in the division with a victory against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars are having a tough season. The Lions hope they won’t be playing from behind in this game.

Matthew Stafford has 18 touchdowns on the season. The offense averages 337 yards per game. Their running game could be better. They have been finding ways to pull out last second victories over teams.

The Lions will need to start games off better in order to keep their first place position. There are three teams that could win the division. The Lions hope to pull away with the division in the next few weeks.
