12. Washington Redskins – 5-3-1

The Redskins watched as a 14-0 lead, turned into a 20-14 Vikings lead at halftime. In the second half, the defense stepped up, holding the Vikings scoreless. This boosted the Redskins to a 26-20 victory.

Kirk Cousins went 22-of-33 for 262 yards and two touchdowns. Robert Kelley rushed 22 times for 97 yards. The Redskins offense started the game hot, going up 14-0 in the second quarter before stalling. In the second half, they put up four field goals to seal their victory.

The NFC East is the best division in the NFL with all the teams having winning records. The Redskins are in third place in the division. They are only a half-a-game ahead of the Philadelphia Eagles. This week, they face the reeling Green Bay Packers.

Even though the Packers are struggling, they are a team that can put up a lot of points. The defense will need to be ready to stop Aaron Rodgers. Cousins will need to be able to take the team down the field and score points to stay alive in the game.
