29. Jacksonville Jaguars – 2-7
The Jaguars kept it close against the Houston Texans, but fell 24-21. They lost their fourth straight game and are 0-4 playing at home. The Jaguars struggled to keep an offensive rhythm going throughout the game.
Bortles went 32-of-49 for 265 yards, two touchdowns, one interception and two fumbles, loosing one. In the third quarter, the Jaguars were down 21-10. They fought back in the fourth quarter, scoring 11 points and only giving up three. The deficit proved to be too much to come back from and the Jags lost their seventh game.
The Jaguars sit at the bottom of the AFC South and are now four games behind the leader. They have no hope in making a run for the playoffs. But this team needs to figure out ways to win. Their offense needs to come together in order to get better.
Up next, the Jaguars have to play the NFC North division leading Detroit Lions. The Lions will be coming off a bye week. The Jaguars defense will have a lot to deal with against the Lions offense. Blake Bortles and the Jaguars offense will need to find a way to put up points in order to stand a chance.
