2. New England Patriots – 7-2

The Patriots failed four times on the goal line to take over the lead against the Seahawks. Turning the ball over on downs sealed their 31-24 loss. This was Tom Brady’s first loss of the season and the Patriots second loss.

This game had seven lead changes and proved to be everything it was hyped up to be. The Patriots had their chance to win, but could not get into the end zone. In this game, Tom Brady threw his first interception and was held without a touchdown.

Brady went 23-of-32 for 316 yards and an interception. LeGarrette Blount rushed 21 times for 69 yards and three touchdowns. The offense was able to move the ball down the field and had no problem getting in the end zone all game.

The defense sacked Russell Wilson three times and forced a fumble. They just couldn’t stop Wilson from throwing the ball down the field. The Seahawks exposed the Patriots secondary all game.

The Patriots don’t have anything to worry about because they have a two game lead in the AFC East. This week, the Patriots will rebound against the San Francisco 49ers. The defense will need to stop Colin Kaepernick, but this shouldn’t be close.
