31. San Francisco 49ers – 1-8

The 49ers put on a strong performance against the Arizona Cardinals. In recent games, they have been able to put up points and stay in the games. Now, they just need to figure out how to finish out the game.

The 49ers fell to the Cardinals 23-20 on a last second field goal. That field goal was the only points the 49ers allowed from the Cardinals in the second half. The Cardinals led 20-10 at the end of the first half.

Colin Kaepernick played a solid game and led his team back to tie the game. Kaepernick went 17-of-30 for 210 yards and a touchdown and rushed 10 times for 55 yards and a touchdown. With 1:55 left in the game, Kaepernick ran in a four yard touchdown to tie the game at 20.

The 49ers are 32nd in the league in the rush defense, but held David Johnson to only 55 yards. The defense had two interceptions and two forced fumbles on the day. The 49ers will face the New England Patriots next, which is not expected to be a close game.
