5. Denver Broncos – 7-3

With 1:28 left in the game, the Denver Broncos blocked a go-ahead extra point and ran it back for two points. On the onside kick, the Broncos recovered the ball to seal their 25-23 victory over the New Orleans Saints.

This was the first time that a run back of a blocked kick won a game. The top rated Broncos defense met their match with the Saints. The defense sacked Drew Brees one time, grabbed two interceptions and force two fumbles.

Trevor Siemian went 25-of-40 for 258 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. Demaryius Thomas grabbed eight receptions for 87 yards and a touchdown. The offense scored two touchdowns and three field goals in the win.

The Broncos go into their bye week half-a-game out of first place in the AFC West. The AFC West is a tight division with two teams tied at 7-2 and the Broncos right there at 7-3. The Broncos are the defending Super Bowl champions.

They want to get back to the playoffs. In order to do that, the Broncos need to figure out how to get more offensive points.
