NFL Power Rankings Week 11
6. Seattle Seahawks -6-2-1
For the second week in a row, the Seahawks pulled out a last-minute victory. This week, they did it against the best team in the NFL. The Seahawks stopped the New England Patriots on the one yard line to claim a 31-24 victory.
This game was a back and forth battle until the end. There were seven lead changes in the game. This game was eerily similar to their match up in the Super Bowl. Russell Wilson went 25-of-37 for 348 yards and three touchdowns.
The Seahawks relied heavily on C.J. Prosise, a rookie out of Notre Dame, in the run game. He took most of the work load for the Seahawks. Prosise grabbed seven receptions for 87 yards and rushed 17 times for 66 yards.
The Seahawks are back in control of the NFC West with a two-game lead. This week the Seahawks have another test when they play the Philadelphia Eagles.
After back to back close games, the Seahawks will try to pull away early. This will be difficult though because they will be playing against one of the top defenses in the NFL.
