Atlanta Falcons. 8. team. 44. The Falcons come out of their bye week to a match up with the Arizona Cardinals. This isn’t going to be an easy game. The Cardinals are struggling, but were supposed to be one of the top teams in the NFC. The Falcons high-powered offense is coming up against a tough defense.
Matt Ryan is going to have to find ways to score on the Cardinals defense. The Falcons are first in the NFL in points, second in passing yards and third in total yards. The running game is going to have to get going to keep the pressure off of Ryan.

Devonta Freeman is going to need to have a big game. If the Falcons are able to get the running game going, than Ryan will be able to make big plays in the air. If they are one-dimensional against the Cardinals this game is going to be hard for them to win.

The defense is going to have the task of stopping David Johnson and containing Carson Palmer. The Falcons are 16th in the league in run defense but are 31st in passing defense. Matt Ryan will have to get a comfortable lead early, so the defense won’t be tasked with having to win the game.
. 6-4. Previous: 8th
