DE/DT. Florida State. DeMarcus Walker. 25. player. 44. DeMarcus Walker is the straight-up sack master of the 2017 NFL Draft class. At 6’3″, 280 pounds, he’s a tweener that’s too powerful for tackes and too fast for guards. And he uses whatever he has to use along with sound technique to rush the passer.
Until he broke out last year with 10.5 sacks, he was previously known for his run defense. So NFL Advisory Board sent him back for his senior year for scouts to see more. And he is giving them plenty now with 15 sacks, tied for No. 1 in D-1 college football.
<div class=

Vic Beasley has come around so the Atlanta Falcons get after the quarterback better these days. But they need to do it even better as opposing teams have to throw to keep up with the Falcons. HC Dan Quinn once had Michael Bennett as DC of the Seattle Seahawks.

That’s the mold that Walker fits most as a base end then kicking inside to tackle on passing downs. A little bit of defense would go a long for the Falcons, who have the best offense in the NFL. And Walker would give them more than just a little bit of defense.
