60. The Minnesota Vikings kicked off week 12 on Thanksgiving against the Detroit Lions. This game was a battle for first place in the NFC North. The Vikings were hoping to carry the momentum over from last week but fell 16-13. <p>The Vikings were winning 13-10 going in the fourth quarter. The Lions were able to tie it at 13. The Vikings got the ball back, but with 36 seconds left Sam Bradford threw an interception. This set up the Lions with the game winning field goal.</p> <p>This loss puts the Vikings a game out of first place in the NFC North. Now is the time to start making a run for the playoffs and the Vikings will need to start playing better to make it. If they can get back to the way they started the season, they will have no problem making the playoffs.</p> <p>This week, the Vikings kickoff week 13, Thursday night against the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys are currently the best team in the NFL, a title the Vikings held onto to start the season. The Vikings defense is going to be stuck with the task of stopping the Cowboys dominant rookies.
