3. team. 28. The Oakland Raiders found themselves in a shootout with the Carolina Panthers. The Raiders led 24-7 in the first half, before the Panthers stormed back. After a back and fourth second half the Raiders held on to win 35-32. <p>Khalil Mack recorded his first interception and touchdown of the season in the second quarter. His touchdown put the Raiders up 24-7. In the third quarter, the Panthers scored 25 unanswered points to take a 25-24 lead. Derek Carr dislocated his pinky finger on his throwing hand but instead of sitting out the rest of the game, he put a glove on and came back in.</p> <p>The Panthers took a 32-24 lead, but Carr answered and converted the two point conversion to tie the game. With a little over four minutes left in the game, Carr moved the Raiders down the field to get into field goal range. Sebastian Janikowski gave the Raiders a 35-32 lead with 1:45 left.</p> <p>Panthers got the ball back but Mack forced a strip sack on fourth down to seal the Raiders victory. This is the Raiders fifth straight victory. Up next, they play the Buffalo Bills. The Bills have been inconsistent this season but are always a tough opponent. The Raiders defense will have a tough job of containing Tyrod Taylor. Carr should be able to play despite dislocating his finger.</p>. 9-2. Previous: 3rd. Oakland Raiders
