Accuracy: Ken Stabler

Rich Gannon has the Raiders’ highest all-time completion percentage but had an advantage. He played in the West Coast Offense, featuring a lot of short, safe passes. He also played in the modern era, where you can’t touch a receiver past five yards.

When Stabler played, you could put your hands on a receiver all the way down the field. So defensive backs certainly had a better chance of defending a pass coming his way. Plus Stabler played in a vertical system, throwing the ball down the field.

Stabler’s completion percentage of 59 is awesome for a man whose prime years were in the ’70s. Eye-test-wise, it goes to Stabler as he can put a ball wherever he wants, between defenders. And he threw the ball where only his guy can get it.

Carr has that kind of accuracy as he once posted a video on Instagram of him hitting a camera. He does it in games too, consistently throwing the ball over and between defenders. He already throws the best back shoulder fade in the NFL, where only his guy can get it.
