Jalen Tabor. 10. player. 53. The Browns will rush the passer much better after getting Garrett at No. 1 overall to improve that area. The Browns can also use some help in coverage as Joe Haden doesn’t stay healthy anymore. He can still play when healthy but at this point, you can’t count on that.
Again, the Browns have six games against three the best QBs in the NFL to make it as difficult as possible on. Garrett and 2016 Jamie Collins, who the team traded for to come off the edge, is part of it. Taking CB Jalen Tabor from Florida here at No. 8 overall is another part of it.

The Jamarr Taylor is solid at CB over there so if Haden can stay healthy, the Browns will be deep at CB. If not, Tabor has a the characteristics it takes to be a shutdown CB and he’s been practicing in college. Florida is also where Haden came from so he’s been taught the right way.

So the Browns improve on their No. 20-ranked pass defense drastically with their 1st-round picks. They just need their O-line to stay healthy to see what Robert Griffin III or Cody Kessler can do. Perhaps they add a C at the top of the second round as the rest of these QBs stink.
. CB. Florida
