Jarrad Davis. 19. player. 45. After losing ILB Danny Trevathan and DL Malik Jackson, the Broncos defense is no longer the same. That defense won a Super Bowl while not getting much from their offense at all. They’re still great in coverage and get after opposing QBs well with Von Miller.
But they absolutely get their butts handed to them when opposing teams decide to run the football. So replacing Jackson and Trevathan would be the fastest way to get that defense back. The 2017 NFL Draft has a few 1st-round candidates that could possibly fill one of the ILB roles.

So the Broncos start at the ILB position when looking to build that defense back to a historic level. Jarrad Davis is the last of those linebackers that are highly graded so they take him at No. 19. Davis is an aggressive, take-on ILB with the instincts to find the ball quickly.

He also has impressive speed and athleticism, giving him excellent potential for pass coverage. But first and foremost, he will help the Broncos stop the run from the time he gets there. It would be interesting to see what the Broncos could then do in the improved AFC West.
. ILB. Florida
