The Seattle Seahawks’ offensive line is the only reason why they’re not the Super Bowl favorite right now. QB Russell Wilson has no protection from either OG spot or either OT spot. They like athletic rookie left OT George Fant anyway but didn’t wish to start him this soon.
So they won’t mind drafting an OG right here at No. 27 overall and there is one that matches in value. Quenton Nelson of Notre Dame is a road-grader of a run blocker and he’s great in pass protection. He has such a high grade and is projected into the first round for a reason.
<div class=. OG. Notre Dame has a lot of zone blocking too so that makes Nelson an excellent fit on top of everything. So the Seahawks waste no time in making Nelson the guy they use that No. 27 overall on. Nelson will come right in and become a dominant OG as soon as he gets to Seattle.

Wilson would then have some protection inside and hope to get it from Germain Ifedi, the other OG. Fant is already making strides so the team will see where he is when the 2017 season comes. And if a right tackle is drafted or emerges, the Seahawks are on their way to the Super Bowl.
