Mitch Trubisky. 26. player. 10. I hope for all Houston Texans fans that owner Bob McNair learned his lesson this offseason. His team was just a quarterback away from being a legitimate contender this season. So McNair threw his weight around and had his team sign Brock Osweiler. <p>And this offseason, the Texans will still be just a QB away from being a legitimate contender. That’s a lot of money they paid Osweiler for the team to still be in that predicament. So the Texans have to do something about the position while this team is still together.</p> <p>There are WRs to throw the ball down the field to and a RB to lean on for a ground game. Then they have a great defense without J.J. Watt this year so imagine what they will be with him back. So just needing a quarterback, the Texans select Mitch Trubisky from North Carolina.</p> <p>I’m not too sure he’s ready to roll immediately because his accuracy down the field still a work in progress. But he has a ton of upside where Osweiler doesn’t look like he’ll ever be that guy. So maybe after a year of Tom Savage, Trubisky will be ready to take the Texans somewhere. </p>. QB. North Carolina
