Tim Williams. 6. player. 30. The New York Jets are having a rough year but they have plenty to be grateful about these days. They didn’t sign Ryan Fitzpatrick, who had a lucky year last year to a big contract. And after seeing Bryce Petty this year, it’s time to see Christian Hackenberg, the future.

The Jets redshirted him this year to straighten out some technical flaws he developed in college. After Bill O’Brien left Penn State, the staff that followed him steered him the wrong way. But Hackenberg has the arm talent and he’s very smart so Jets fans will be happy with him.

Darrelle Revis had his problems this year because of a wrist surgery he had this offseason. That affected his preparation for the season plus he wasn’t able to jam receivers because of it. He will be much better next year but Todd Bowles still doesn’t have a star edge-rusher.

He has a great interior line but no burst off the edge so he takes Tim Williams at No. 5 overall. His get-off and burst is right on par with Kansas City Chiefs legend Derrick Thomas. Bowles will finally get to put heat on opposing QBs and climb up the standings in 2017.
. OLB. Alabama
