OT. Wisconsin. Ryan Ramczyk. 7. player. 13. The San Diego Chargers didn’t do too well this year because QB Philip Rivers had to do too much. The defense wasn’t a great help to him this year because they had so many injuries on it. Then his favorite receiver, Keenan Allen, popped his Achilles to make things worse.
One thing the Chargers did to help Rivers was draft RB Melvin Gordon in 2015 to boost the running game. But the team still needs to do something about protecting Rivers better. It’s been a long time since he’s had his blind side protected by a franchise left tackle.

All he’s had since Marcus McNeil retired in 2011 are average to barely feasible guys protecting him. Rivers is getting a little old to not have top-flight protection these days. So here at No. 7 overall, the Chargers take left tackle Ryan Ramczyk from Wisconsin.

Ramczyk is raising up draft boards quickly these days after an exceptional year. At 6’6″, 314 pounds, he has long arms, great feet and keeps his technique tight. When Ramczyk’s protection and a healthy Allen and defense coming back. watch out for the Chargers.
