player. 53. There is a lot of the talent at the receiver and quarterback cornerback positions in the AFC North. So priority No. 1 for this Cleveland Browns team should be the defense right now. And using two picks in the first round in the process is a good way to go.
At No. 1 overall, they made a great pick, choosing Allen, a dominant interior defensive lineman. Here at No. 12 overall, the Browns would be best served to address the cornerback position. Joe Haden is only 27 but he’s always gimpy, playing in 18 of the team’s last 32 games.

A cornerback they can depend on every week is good use of the pick they got from the Philadelphia Eagles. So with that No. 12 overall pick, the Browns select cornerback Marshon Lattimore from Ohio State. Lattimore will be a shutdown corner at the next level with the versatility he has.

He’s good in press-man, off-man, zone, any coverage you need him in plus he has great ball skills. Allen and Lattimore would make this defense much better immediately. Meanwhile, head coach Hue Jackson can figure out the offense with Robert Griffin III, Terrelle Pryor and Isaiah Crowell.
. CB.
