32. If Notre Dame quarterback DeShone Kizer was as good in 2016 as he was 2015, he would go No. 1 overall. But he left room to slide down the board this year because of his lack of accuracy in 2016. He did lose receivers and offensive lineman so he shouldn’t fall too far.
He really shouldn’t fall further than the Arizona Cardinals here at No. 13 overall. Kizer is the most pro ready quarterback prospect in the 2017 NFL Draft so he could play right away. And if he goes to the right team, he could excel right away and the Cardinals are that team.

They have a great defense and a fully loaded offense but injuries on the offensive line stopped them this year. That should improve with offensive linemen coming back healthy in 2017. Or he could be an understudy to Carson Palmer while he tries to get a ring one more time.

Palmer is talking retirement now so one more year at the most is what I give him in the NFL. When Kizer finally does replace him, they’ll be getting the same big arm that Palmer has. But his mobility could send the Cardinals upward and get that Super Bowl Palmer missed on.
. QB. Notre Dame. DeShone Kizer. 13. player
