Owner Jerry Jones doesn’t want to do this but knows he has to with the emergence of Dak Prescott. Rumors have already been swirling around about the Bears making a play for Romo once he’s cut. HC John Fox doesn’t like rookie QBs s and GM Ryan Pace says he won’t reach for one. Plus they’re on the hot seat, entering Year 3 without taking the Bears to the playoffs. They have Jordan Howard running the ball and a defense that’s a solid secondary away from being an elite unit. The Bears need help at the CB and S positions going into the 2017 NFL Draft. And S Jamal Adams is the best player at a position of need with Top-5 value. In this deep CB class, the Bears, can get themselves a CB with first-round talent in Round 2 anyway. With that approach the Bears run the ball, play great defense and have a safe QB. And it could make them a playoff factor in the NFC North in 2017.. S
