Stanford. Solomon Thomas. 14. player. 46. With franchise QB Andrew Luck, the Indianapolis Colts won’t have problems scoring points. He has weapons like TY Hilton to throw the ball to and his offensive line has improved exponentially. But the defense is becoming quite a problem as they’re note stopping anyone now.
The Colts are bad against the pass and the run so they need a playmaker that can affect both. Solomon Thomas would be a great pick for the team here at No. 14 overall. The 6’3″, 280-pounder is an extremely tough player to block while trying to run or pass.
<div class=. DE

He’s extremely explosive and can wreak havoc while lining up anywhere on the D-line. For the Colts, who run a 3-4, Thomas would be a DE and play DE or DT on passing downs. He has an explosive first step, strong hands and the ability to bend/wrap around the edge.

He also has a powerful bull rush from the outside while he wins with speed inside. A playmaker like this against the run and pass would do the Colts defense a world of good. They would then be ready to challenge for the AFC South championship again.
