47. The Super Bowl champion New England Patriots have their work cut out for them as they try to repeat. HC Bill Belichick is looking for another way to get back to the big game next year. The the first thing the Patriots have to do is overcome some of the talent they’re probably losing.
Guys like ILB Dont’a Hightower and TE Martellus Bennett are soon to hit the market. And when you hit the market with the Patriots, they generally don’t engage in bidding wars for you. The Patriots still have TE Rob Gronkowski whom I don’t think the team will give up on.

But the Patriots would probably want to have another TE in case there’s another injury. Plus the team likes to line up in a lot of double-tight formations and use both in the passing game. Miami’s David Njoku would be quite a weapon as he has outstanding athleticism for the position.

He often lines up in the slot or split out wide and uses his speed to get down the seam. He’ll be another one of those nightmare matchups for LB or CBs when he gets to the NFL. Giving Brady another weapon like this just wouldn’t be fair to the rest of the league. .
. TE. Miami.
