3. player. 57. Trubisky would have been the Chicago Bears’ choice at No 3 overall but the 49ers took him. HC John Fox and GM Ryan Pace are in year three so they don’t have time to develop a QB. Perhaps they pick up Tony Romo in free agency if they can’t trade for Jimmy Garoppolo.
One thing we should all know is that Fox doesn’t like rookie QBs and this class is weak at that. Fox and Pace have built a good ground game around the running of RB Jordan Howard. They might want to re-sign WR Alshon Jeffery regardless of who they have at QB.

On defense, the Bears need help at the CB and S positions going into the 2017 NFL Draft. But the Bears would not be able to pass up on a talent like Alabama DE Jonathan Allen. Adding Allen would make that defense dominant, they can add to the secondary later in the draft

In this deep CB class, the Bears, can get themselves a CB with first-round talent in Round 2. The team could then win by running the ball, playing great defense, the way Fox likes to play. Then a QB that doesn’t turn the ball over would give them a chance to move up the standings.
. DE. Alabama. Jonathan Allen
