2017 NFL Mock Draft: Combine Edition
By Jon Dove
Despite the rumors, I have a hard time mocking either Mitch Trubisky or DeShone Kizer in the 1st round. They have too many holes in their game to say either of them are guaranteed to develop into an above-average starter.
The 2nd round represents perfect value for prospects who have a lot of upside but still come with risk.

John Ross landing with the Chicago Bears is a perfect match for a team that needs to add some explosiveness to their offense. He has 1st round talent, but needs his medical checks to go perfect during Combine.
There has been some talk about the Carolina Panthers being a good fit for Leonard Fournette in the 1st round, but they could find another fit here in the 2nd round with Texas’ D’Onta Foreman.
