North Carolina. Mitch Trubisky. 12. player. 53. There has been a lot of talk about other QBs in this draft being the first one off the board. But I still believe that when all is said and done, Mitchell Trubisky will be the first one gone. I don’t see him as the best QB in this draft for the first to ready to play among them.
I just keep hearing that the Cleveland Browns love him and considered picking him over Garrett. But after the performance Garrett put on at the combine, we know who’s going No. 1 overall. It helps to have two picks in the top 12 and no one picking that high loving Trubisky that much.

There are much better players to be had between one and 12 so the Browns can get their guy. He tested well at 6’2″, 222 pounds, running a 4.67 40 and a 6.87 3-cone drill at the combine. He showed a live arm, not a big arm at the combine too but wasn’t impressive throwing the ball.

He was actually outperformed by Deshaun Watson, Brad Kaaya and Patrick Mahomes. But the combine doesn’t matter that much with QBs and he did show some athleticism. If Jackson can mold Trubisky in to a good QB, the Browns are on the way up.
. QB
