14. player. 46. The Indianapolis Colts lost one heck of a football player in ILB Jerrell Freeman in free agency last year. That left the defense leaderless last year so that side of the ball wasn’t very good. Plus giving up 4.7 yards per carry on the ground isn’t going to win anyone anything.

So the Colts should be looking for a leader that can stuff the run at ILB in the 2017 NFL Draft. They have their leader in QB Andrew Luck on the offensive side of the ball and they have no problems. Reuben Foster is a guy that can bring the defense together with his skill set.

Against the run, he’s physical and plays downhill with the instincts to sniff things out quickly. He also has the quickness to shoot gaps to create his fair share of tackles for losses. Foster has tremendous speed and all the instincts in the world for the position.

He uses that speed along with his agility in pass coverage to mirror TEs and RBs too. He’s also a sure tackle and very physical to complete him as a do-it-all ILB at the next level. His incident that got him kicked out of the combine wasn’t drug-related or violent so Indy gets their defensive leader..
. ILB. Alabama. Reuben Foster
