Washington. John Ross. 15. player. 54. The Philadelphia Eagles manipulated draft trades to get their franchise QB and still pick in the first round this year. They’ll be picking in the place of the Minnesota Vikings, who now have QB Sam Bradford. What the Eagles need to do now is get that franchise QB some help.
They already have a defense that’s one CB away from being one of the better units in the NFL. But they don’t need to get one in the first round with as deep as this class is at CB. The Eagles need to get Carson Wentz, their franchise QB, a big-time target to throw to.

Most teams in recent memory look to draft a WR right after their QB if they don’t already have one. Washington WR John Ross is their guy here as they tried to trade for speed this offseason. If you have questions about his size, he’s two pounds heavier than Antonio Brown in Pittsburgh.

Like Brown, Ross is a great route runner with great hands, but his speed is something on another level. When he ran the 4.22 at the combine, he got himself out of the bottom of the first round. His speed will go with QB Carson Wentz’ big arm and with that defense, they Eagles will be a tough out.
.
