35. The Titans got a great CB prospect in the first round in order to complete their defense. Here at No. 18 overall, they have a chance to complete their offense. When you have a young QB like Mariota, it’s good to get him a target he can rely on.
Clemson’s Mike Williams and the huge catch radius he provides is the perfect fit for him. He even fits the exotic smash-mouth the Titans have as hes is a great run blocker. He also comes from the spread offense, something the Titans still use a lot with Mariota.

Williams is that big-bodied WR1 that can make contested catches in the red zone for TDs. He can also help Mariota improve his conversion rate on third down in 2017. Williams is also very good with the ball in his hands as he is tough to bring down after the catch.

The sum of all Williams’ parts gives Mariota WR1 to grow with for years to come in Tennessee. So with best O-line in football, the Titans would be able to run the ball and throw. It’s time to start looking out for the Titans to compete in the AFC South.
. WR. Clemson. Mike Williams. 18. player
