First off, let me apologize to Garrett for the times I mocked another prospect ahead him. I’ll even apologize to the Browns, who need a wow player to build around at No. 1 overall. A guy that can make plays on his own makes up for a lot of what a team lacks.

And the guy that has the ability to do that the most in the 2017 NFL Draft is DE Myles Garrett. He looks like he’ll be the next Khalil Mack type of game-wrecker offenses have to watch out for. Garrett must be the guy the Browns switched their defense to a 4-3 to accommodate.

At 6’5″, 270 pounds with 35-inch long arms, Garrett is a freak athlete, much like Jadeveon Clowney. He ran a 4.64 40, had a vertical leap of 41-inches, and repped 225 33 teams. He’s a tick slower but he’s a bigger, longer, stronger and more skilled version of Jadeveon Clowney,

He can win with speed, bend around the edge, fight with his hands and spin inside to counter. Against the run, he uses his length to keep blockers off and quickness to penetrate. Garrett’s athleticism and skill will make him a disruptive force and make Browns better right away.
. DE. Texas A&M. Myles Garrett. 1. player. 53
