RB. Florida State. Dalvin Cook. 19. player. 48. Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Doug Martin had a great year in 2015 with 1,402 yards and six TDs. Then he signed a big, five-year contract but he can be cut for failing a drug test. He was in the midst of a horrible year at that, averaging 2.9 yards per carry.
That type of play isn’t worth waiting the first three games of the season to get in 2017. So it is time to move on from him while this draft class is deep at the RB position. Dalvin Cook is at the top of that deep RB class at No. 1 or 2, depending on who you ask.
<div class=

Cook was projected to go in the top 10 earlier but he started dropping with some off-the-field. Then when it didn’t go so well for him at the combine, he dropped some more. But Cook will be fine with Jameis Winston, his leader at Florida State.

And when he’s playing in a football game, he has tremendous speed so that’s not a concern. His vision, burst, elusiveness and hands out of the backfield would help the Buccaneers immediately.. With the direction the team is going in, adding Cook would make it possible to win the NFC South..
