Malik Hooker. 2. player. 42. Obviously, the need is there at QB for the San Francisco 49ers but the player isn’t at No. 2 overall. This why there is so much talk about the team trading for Kirk Cousins or Jimmy Garoppolo. But GM John Lynch and HC Kyle Shanahan can get him for nothing at all in one calendar year.. <p>It’s too expensive for the Redskins to franchise him again and he wants to play for the 49ers. Plus they have six-year contracts so they can be patient and build the team the right way.. They might as well give Colin Kaepernick a one-year deal to prove he can play for another team in 2018.</p> <p>On defense, the 49ers have already started building their front-seven with Deforest Buckner and Arik Armstead. They just nee DE Aaron Lynch to play like he did in 2015 and ILB Navorro Bowman to stay healthy, The defense would tough to score on with that and S Malik Hooker on the back end of it.</p> <p>He is a ball hawk with all kinds of range and instincts, reminding many of Ed Reed. He’s such a playmaker, the injury that’s keeping him out of the combine and the whole offseason doesn’t matter. When the 49ers get Hooker, he will get turnovers for the team, leading to improvement.</p>. S. Ohio State
