player. 47. I’m not sure the Patriots will have a weakness as long as Bill Belichick is the brain-trust there. The man just knows how to play to his guy’s strengths and to his opponents’ weaknesses. He traded Chandler Jones, his best pass rusher to the Cardinals last year and still won.
He picked up DE Chris Long last year but he won’t be back in 2017 to defend the title. So I’m going to guess that a DE to replace Long is what they want here at 32 overall. Taco Charlton from Michigan is a guy Belichick can possibly get something out of.

Charlton isn’t a speed guy, having run his 40 in 4.92 but he is and effective player. At 6’6″, 277 pounds, he gets it done with his length, power and pass-rushing moves. The Patriots will know what to do with him as many compare Charlton to Jones.

He’s polished enough to be ready to help the Patriots defend their title right away. They just need to make sure they don’t lose ILB Dont’a Hightower in free agency over the next few days. If they don’t, the Patriots will be in good shape to defend their title and 2017.
. DE. Michigan. Taco Charlton. 32
