4. player. 52. What the Jacksonville Jaguars do this offseason is going to depend largely on QB Blake Bortles. That could go either way but getting left OT Branden Albert in a trade will help. One thing they have going over there already is a young defense starting to come together.

It’s not easy to move the ball on them now but they need to get tougher in the red zone. They’re among the best in yards given up and among the worst in points given up. And outside of Malik Jackson, the defensive line was a bit of a disappointment in 2016.

A player like Jonathan Allen of Alabama would give the Jaguars a big shot in the arm. He’s actually perfect for the Jaguars defense with the range of talents he has. As expected, he was 6’3″, 286 pounds at the combine and while he didn’t wow in testing, he didn’t flop.

There was nothing that made you wonder how he did so well while at Alabama. You could see Allen’s quickness to penetrate and everything he needs to be a solid three-technique in a base 4-3. The Jaguars run such a defense and Allen is ready to go in and help immediately.
. DL. Alabama. Jonathan Allen
