1. Tennessee trades up to 10. Buffalo gets the 18th pick. Tennessee forfeits one of their 3rd round picks to Buffalo. Buffalo also receives a 2018 4th round pick.
Tennessee is looking for a game changer in this draft. The good news is that they have the 5th pick in the draft, so they are off to a good start. However if they make this trade they can have two picks in the top 10.
They could bring in a combination of elite play-makers on both sides of the football. Or they could opt to bring in top level talent on offense and defense. This would be huge for a franchise looking to finally take the AFC South.
Buffalo just decided to retain Tyrod Taylor, so QB isn’t a need for them at this time. They will most likely be looking at a WR, CB, or OT. They can still target all of those positions from 18. A top WR could still be available, a plethora of CB’s, and 18 is justifiable to take the top OT in the draft.
With a new coaching staff, they may look to stock up draft picks and take more quantity of players that fit their system.
