North Carolina. Mitch Trubisky. 12. player. 53. The Cleveland Browns still haven’t done anything about the QB position besides cut Robert Griffin III. So l believe more than ever now that they will take Mitchell Trubisky at No. 12 overall. This is a Kareem Abdul-Jabbar arm length reach but they have two first-round picks.
There are better QBs than Trubisky in this draft but the Browns are picking and they reportedly love him. To that, I say at least they won’t pick him No. 1 overall over a stud like Garrett. One good thing the Browns did in free agency is build a good workplace for a young QB.

They went out and signed C J.C. Tretter along with OG Kevin Zeitler then extended OG G Joel Bitonio. Combine that with OTs Joe Thomas and Shon Coleman and that’s a solid O-line. As we saw last year with Dak Prescott and Carson Wentz, young QBs have a shot with good blocking.

Trubisky looked good at 6’2″, 222 pounds, running a 4.67 40 and a 6.87 3-cone drill at the combine. He also showed a live arm but still has work to do throwing the ball down the field. With 13 college starts, I don’t think he’s ready for the NFL but we’ll see how fast HC Hue Jackson can get him ready.
. QB
