Tennessee. Derek Barnette. 16. player. 26. The Baltimore Ravens haven’t done much this offseason so far outside of re-signing their own guys. So we can expect them to have the solid defense they’ve always had throughout. But they didn’t quite get after opposing QBs the way they traditionally have in 2016. <p>OLB Elvis Dumervil has started to decline so he won’t be with the team in 2017. Terrell Suggs still got it as of last year but he only has but so many great years left. So right now is as good a time as any for the Ravens to start looking to add an OLB in the draft.</p> <p>Someone to play with then eventually replace Suggs as the primary edge rusher is needed.. The Ravens like their OLBs big so they welcome 4-3 DE types to play 3-4 OLB for them. Derek Barnett was extremely productive in college and has what it takes to be the Ravens’ next great edge rusher.</p> <p>He has a great get-off, a variety of hand moves and can convert speed to power for bull a rush. He’s also great against the run and has dropped in coverage on occasion so he won’t get lost. Barnette will go right in, help Suggs out then eventually replace him.</p>. OLB
