31. QB Eli Manning still has a couple of quality years in him but he needs better pass protection. Ereck Flowers isn’t working out at left OT so he should no longer be trusted there. Manning generally plays well and the Giants go to Super Bowls when they protect him.
But unfortunately, the Giants haven’t protected him well more than they have throughout is career. They just added Brandon Marshall so he has plenty of weapons to throw to. And in the backfield, RB Paul Perkins looks like he can give the Giants something.

Ryan Ramczyk looks like a great candidate to go in right away and take over the left OT spot. He gets knocked for his lack of experience at the FBS level but he has the traits. The traits matter most because it’s not like he wasn’t playing football at all before transferring to Wisconsin.

He made a seamless transition when he stepped up to Wisconsin from Wisconsin-Stevens Point. And he’ll make one more seamless transition from Wisconsin to the NFL in 2017. And protecting Manning will make a big difference, pushing the Giants further into the playoffs.
. OT. Wisconsin. Ryan Ramczyk. 23. player
