28. After the Oakland Raiders started free agency off slowly, they have some guys coming to visit. They managed to pick up Cordarrelle Patterson, a speedster with big-play ability. Speaking of speed and big-play ability. they have a TE with that type of talent coming to visit in Jared Cook.
And I have to wonder if they’ll see Adrian Peterson after Latavius Murray went to the Minnesota Vikings, ILB Zach Brown is coming to visit along with NT Dontari Poe to visit too. I don’t know if the Raiders sign all those guys but but a couple of them, especially on the defense, would be good..
<div class=. S. Washington. Obi Melifonwu. 24. player

We’ll see what happens there and when the draft comes, the Raiders can’t resist Obi Melifonwu. The former CB is 6’4″, 225 pounds, runs a 4.40 40 and hasn’t lost his coverage skills. He’ll be the type of S that can shut today’s big, athletic TEs down with the talent he has.

There’s an invasion of athletic TEs entering the NFL this year plus Travis Kelce is with the Kansas City Chiefs. TEs would be one less worry for the Raiders defense if the Raiders pick Melifonwu. And if they get enough of those free agents, the Silver and Black will be back in 2017.
