Beast Mode to Oakland Raiders in Makings Awhile
Lynch Ready, Willing, Able
As complicated as this is, Lynch is ready, willing and able to play for the Raiders. The Oakland native is a lifelong Raiders fan and would possibly take a hometown discount. There have been multiple pictures and reports of him wearing Raiders gear over the past year.
Plus he can’t turn down a chance to help his childhood team win a Super Bowl. Lynch would get to run behind one of the best O-lines in football and have Derek Carr as his QB. The Raiders also have speed outside to take that extrad defender out of the box.
They even have a couple of change-of-pace RBs so Lynch can pick his spots. If you’re concerned that Lynch is out of shape because he was retired last year, don’t be. He has kept in shape, working out when out of the country promoting the game of football.
NFL.com reported last year that he took some reps as a scout-team RB for Cal in Australia. At age 30, I assure you that you don’t just get up off the coach to do that. So he would be ready to go as the offseason would knock off whatever rust there is.
