Not Looking For Big-Name RBs in Free Agency

Since the beginning of the offseason, Adrian Peterson has wanted to play for the Raiders. Of course he would, Peterson knows what he could do behind an O-line like that. Oakland also sounds like a place his father wants him to go as well.

He told Twin Cities.com:

"“What we personally like is [the Raiders’] offensive line, “The offensive line, they haven’t been playing around. They haven’t been trying to get offensive linemen from the bottom of the barrel and trying to make them into something.”"

Meanwhile, McKenzie just let Latavius Murray walk and isn’t concerned about Peterson or any big-name RB. People are charging it off to the “great RBs” in this draft class. But Leonard Fournette, Dalvin Cook and Christian McCaffrey are the only great ones in it.

And no one believes right now that any of the three will make it to the Raiders at No. 24 overall. The Raiders aren’t concerned with the RB situation because Lynch has been planned for. They are both great backs but you have to give the kid from Oakland the nod here.
