15. I’ve been hearing for a while now that the New Orleans Saints have their sights on Derek Barnette. And it makes sense when you look at the moves they’ve made in free agency so far. They signed restricted free agent CB Malcolm Butler to a deal that likely won’t be matched.
They also just signed unrestricted free agent MLB Manti Te’o to help their woes against the run. Anr edge rusher on the other side of Cameron Jordan would help immensely. DTs Sheldon Rankins and Nick Fairley will provide the interior pass rush the team needs.

Derek Barnett is a great candidate here at No. 11 overall to complete the Saints’ pass rush . At 6’3 260 pounds, Barnette is a technician with his hands that knows how to get to the QB. He also has a quick first step and can bend low to the ground while turning the corner.

Against the run, Barnette uses his lack of height as leverage along with his strength to set the edge. Both skill-wise and physically, Barnette is ready to go to the NFL and excel right away. Along with the other additions, he would help get the Saints back in the playoffs.
. DE. Tennessee.
