Mitchell Trubisky

But the Browns don’t want to pass on the best prospect in the draft for someone they can take later. They have a second first-round pick here at No. 12 overall as a result of missing out on Wentz. So it makes all the sense in the world to go ahead and get Trubisky, their guy, with this pick.
They’ve already prepared for him, building a solid offensive line for him with a running game. It’s a little scary taking a QB with only 13 starts so early in the draft but HC Hue Jackson is a believer. As long as he has time, Trubisky does go through his progressions and throws with anticipation.
His accuracy down the field is a question mark but Jackson has done wonders with quarterbacks before. You have to bet on a guy that had Jason Campbell playing some good football for a time. If Jackson pulls this off with Trubisky, we will hear them barking in the dog pound for years to come.
