The Baltimore Ravens tightened up their secondary in free agency, bringing in CB Brandon Carr. But to be the defense they’ve always been, they need to get after the passer better. OLB Terrell Suggs is still getting it done but he needs some help plus he can’t play forever. <p>So the Ravens should draft their next primary pass rusher to learn from him for a couple years. Then he can take over for him and pass that down to the next Ravens edge rusher. Takkarist McKinley would be the perfect guy for the Ravens to bring in at No. 16 overall.</p> <p>He combined speed with long arms and relentless effort to get his production while at UCLA. At 6’2″, 250 pounds, he ran a 4.59 at the combine to show just how much burst he has. He can also convert speed to power pretty quickly when using his bull rush.</p> <p>McKinley isn’t a polished edge rusher but his speed and motor make up for what he lacks in technique. Putting McKinley in a locker room with Suggs would bring him up to speed quickly. So this pick is for an immediate impact that will last well into the future of the Ravens. </p>. OLB. UCLA.
