15. The Saints originally wanted to trade Brandin Cooks to the Patriots for CB Malcolm Brown. But no such trade could be made because Brown had not yet signed his tender with the Patriots. So the Patriots gave the Saints their first-round pick instead.

Since then, the Saints have been working on finalizing a deal between themselves and Brown. So my guess is that instead of compensation the tender calls for, Patriots will take their first-round pick back. The two teams will then have made the trade they wanted to make the whole time.

But as of right now, the Saints still have the pick so we’re gonna roll with it this way. So I have the Saints talking CB Jalen Tabor as that’s the position they were addressing in the trade. They already made additions to the front-seven and kept Fairley to solidify things.

Once the Saints get a secondary together, they will hold onto more lead in game. And Jalen Tabor is the perfect fit to what Saints DC Dennis Allen likes to do with all that off-man coverage. The Saints would get themselves into the NFC South race by picking Tabor or trading for Bulter at this point.
. CB. Florida. Jalen Tabor. 32. player
