11. player. 15. It’s partially up to the Patriots and what they ask for if a Malcolm Butler trade is going to happen. Perhaps they don’t ask for anything more than the first-round pick they gave the New Orleans Saints for Brandin Cooks. If they ask for the Saints’ No. 11 overall, word is they won’t get it.
I don’t assume trades unless it’s something that looks imminent and this situation doesn’t look like it. And the Saints need a CB badly as that’s the position on the team that’s killing them. Sidney Jones has the best looking tape of all the CB prospects left on the board here.

But he has the unfortunate Achilles injury that has put doubt into how much he can contribute right away. The next man up from Jones at the CB position is Marlon Humphrey so they take him. Jones is a little better but I wouldn’t exactly call Humphrey a consolation prize at No. 11 overall.

He’s versatile, able to play press-man, off-man, zone, so he could fit in any scheme a DC comes up with. And of course, they’re taught well in their pro style defense at Alabama so he will know what’s up. The Saints improved the pass-rush in free agency so look for the defense and team to improve in 2017.
. CB. Alabama. Marlon Humphrey
