Haason Reddick. 15. player. 46. It’s all well and good that the Indianapolis Colts have a young franchise QB in Andrew Luck. But football is a physical game and the Colts have a bit of a reputation as a finesse team. They are particularly known to be soft on defense these days with guys like Robert Mathis now gone.
The Colts don’t stop the run or get after the passer very well with the soft front-seven they have. So they have to add someone to their front-seven that can help with one or both. Haason Reddick out of Temple is the perfect prospect for the Colts to draft here at No. 15 overall.

He can come off the edge as a 3-4 OLB, stuff the run and cover RBs and TEs as an ILB. He’s very unique, having walked on as a CB, moving to EDGE then showing he can play ILB in the Senior Bowl. His versatility is the key as they can put him at ILB or OLB, depending on who else they get.

But the best thing about him is he’s “Temple tough” so he will help the defense shed the soft label. He’s ready to go in and become a star player at whatever position the Colts put him. An improved defense will give the Colts a shot to get back on top in the AFC South.
. OLB/ILB. Temple
