35. With their No. 5 overall pick, the Titans strengthened their LB corps and got a star in Foster. They could probably use another piece to that secondary after signing Ryan but don’t have to get it here. Again, this is a very deep class in secondary players so the next round is a good time for that.
Here at No. 18 overall, the Titans need to get Mariota a WR1 he can depend on down the field. Mike Williams out of Clemson fits the big-bodied, athletic WR1 that we see in the game today. He ran his 40 at his Pro Day in just a shade under 4.5 to prove he has the speed for the next level.

Williams will provide Mariota with a huge catch radius so his margin for error won’t be small. He’ll also allow Mariota to take more chances down the field with his ability to come down with 50-50 balls. At 6’4″, 220 pounds, he has the willingness to go over the middle and runs well after the catch.

That’s the skill set of a true WR1 and he would have a chance to do his damage with Mariota. He’s also a good run blocker so the Titans will lose nothing from their exotic smash-mouth running game. After such a first-round haul, the Titans would be contenders in the AFC South for the foreseeable future.
. WR. Clemson. Mike Williams. 18. player
