Pat Mahomes. 25. player. 10. The Houston Texans are stacked everywhere and need only a QB to make them legit Super Bowl contenders. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is trying to delay it but Romo will end up in Houston to make that happen. But Romo is getting up there so the Texans still need to draft a QB. <p>The Texans are a pretty young team so when Romo is done, the window is still open with another QB. Meanwhile, Pat Mahomes is making his way up draft boards as he shows his elite arm talent. He has some things to clean up so he isn’t ready to go in and get it done right away.</p> <p>But with a year or two learning from Romo, a guy with Mahomes’ arm talent could be the guy. The 6’2″, 225-pounder is pretty athletic and there isn’t a throw on the field that he can’t make. There also isn’t an angle on the field that he can’t make these throws from.</p> <p>Many compare him to Brett Favre because he’s a gunslinger that can improvise to make a play. If he can harness that rare quality he has, Mahomes would make a great one in a couple of years. He would truly be the future of the Houston Texans with Romo in the fold in 2017. </p>. QB.
